I am an Associate Professor of Economics and the Director of Graduate Studies for the Economics Department at Vanderbilt University. I am also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.

I completed my PhD in 2015 at the University of Pittsburgh under the guidance of Werner Troesken. Before joining Vanderbilt in August of 2019 I was an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at the College of William & Mary.
